Q: I purchased this twin bed for my first son. Now that we have two boys, we'd like to convert the twin bed to a bunk bed. Is that possible?

A: No this cant be converted to bunks but there is a trundle that will fit under the bed and pull out.
Q: How deep can the mattress be to insure the rails effectiveness

A: We recommend a 7-8 inch mattress be used.

A: The full size bed will have a full size trundle. The twin bed will have a twin size trundle.
Q: What is the distance from the floor to the bottom of the side rail? Does this accommodate a trundle bed under it? Is there a "lip" on the side rails to keep the mattress from sliding sideways?

A: The height from the floor to the bottom side rail is 12" and a trundle will fit underneath.
