Q: What is the lamp shade made of?

A: The shade is made of a natural colored silk-like fabric, beautifully designed to give off the soft glow and weave-pattern found in silk. The fabric is backed with a natural colored PVC hard material to support the fabric.

Q: Can I use a 3-way bulb with this lamp?

A: While you can use a three-way bulb with this lamp, the switch is not three-way. So a 3-way light bulb will only light up on the 150 watt setting.

Q: Some of the reviews indicate the wood split when you put in the screws. Has this issue been resolved?

A: Good question! As with any wooden product, if the screws are screwed in too tightly the wood may split from the pressure. This should not be an issue in typical assembly.
